I decided I wanted to be a writer when I was a child. In Middle School, I chose sportswriting once I realized I could sleep late and attend games at night. Such is this priorities of a 13-year-old.
Following the standard path, I majored in journalism at Seton Hall University, was Sports Editor of The Setonian for three years and a sports broadcaster at WSOU for two years.
After graduating in 2000, I spent a summer at Major League Baseball Publishing and – after a brief stint at Pro Sports Publications – was an editor at ESPN SportsTicker for three years in downtown Jersey City.
When SportsTicker was moved to join the ESPN mothership in Bristol, Connecticut, I moved on and joined Business Wire in 2004. In my time at Business Wire, I have moved from Editor to Senior Editor to Supervisor and have also contributed to the company’s content team.
While working been at Business Wire, I have seen the media landscape change dramatically and I realized being a sports writer and reporter was too narrow a goal. I began to study web design and development and internet marketing strategies to plot a new course.
In 2007, I helped radically renovate and build eSecaucus – a news website focused on my hometown of Secaucus, New Jersey. I’ve spent a majority of the last decade handling various digital marketing roles for a number of clients, including managing social media for The Wall Street Transcript, College Cooking Network, copywriting for JIN’S COMPANY and OTHER STUFF.
As of 2016, I am helping to launch an exciting new business as the Director of Digital Marketing at RAKO Business Solutions. My primary focus will be acquiring clients and managing web design and internet marketing projects.
I currently live in Secaucus with my wife and daughter.
I oirignated writer and content crafter, community explorer, and curiosity champion. I believe in creating things that help people. I live by the principle that we
can all do well by doing good. I live to be inspired. I’m captivated by the digital lifestyle.
